Introducing Dr. Chris Garcia Ed.D, who will be serving as our Superintendent for the 2024-2025 School Year. Garcia has been with the District since 1985, initially as a Substitute Teacher, and later returned in 2005 as a History teacher at Zion-Park 3.

We are also pleased to welcome Dr. Kaylie Romero, who will be joining us as the new Assistant Superintendent for the 2024-2025 School Year.

A new addition to our School District, D65, has brought a change in the Superintendent over the past year. Recently, BOE member Kevin Foster joined forces with ZPCD, and their Superintendent Chris Garcia, also agreed to collaborate with D65. With the BOE's positive decision, this partnership between D65 and ZPCD will surely make history.

James Aruca-Uiber was the founder of the school district and the first superintendent in the history of ZPD3. During the 1900s, Aruca worked as a math teacher for ZPCD. In 1975, he was promoted to superintendent. In 2020, Aruca offered the position of Assistant Associate Superintendent to Chris Garcia, who accepted. Aruca left the school district in 2022, and Chris Garcia took over as superintendent. Garcia is now the second superintendent in the history of ZPCD.
